Welcome to my Portfolio Site. My name is Alejandro Palza, I am a professional system administrator and web developer with a Master’s degree in Business & Marketing. I have built my career in a variety of web related roles and industries and am familiar with several online platforms such as WordPress, Joomla, etc, as well as diverse OS (Centos 7, RH 7, Ubuntu) stacks (LAMP,LEMP) and virtualization (ESXi.) I’m capable of wearing many hats and sincerely enjoy and thrive in a fast paced environment where no two days are the same.

I was born in Chicago Illinois and grew up in South America (Bolivia, Peru.) After graduating from high school in South America, I returned to the United States to pursue my Bachelor’s degree in Economics at Louisiana State University (LSU) and my Master’s in Business Administration at Southeastern Louisiana University (SLU.) Being exposed to different countries has enabled me to develop a useful set of skills to understand different cultures.

I enjoy cooking dishes from many different cultures, reading, traveling to new places, and staying informed about current trends in digital marketing, economics and international issues. I also really enjoy movies including Shawshank Redemption, Gattaca, Life is Beautiful, the original Star Wars Trilogy, and Pulp Fiction.
